Every Detail Matters
My art is a reflection of my heart. What I create in each season of life is deeply tied to what I’m experiencing in that moment. This gives my work a sense of meaning—not only for me, but hopefully also those who connect with it. I’m intentional about weaving in hidden details that speak to my own story or that of my collectors, adding layers of personal significance to each piece.
Art and nature have always drawn me closer to the Lord. It’s my prayer that He might be glorified through this gift, and that others might sense His presence through these very works which He inspires.

About Me
Thank you so much for stopping by to view my work! My name is Katie Lowder. I was raised in the charming town of St. Francisville, Louisiana, and currently reside in Shreveport with my husband, James, and our three lively boys. I’ve been painting for over 18 years, and it’s been remarkable to see how my artistic style has evolved over time—reflecting growth not only in my craft but in many areas of my life.
As a mother of three, my time to paint comes in small, sacred windows. Because of that, I typically release only one collection each year. This slower pace allows me to approach each body of work with greater intention and depth. I begin each series only when I feel divinely inspired, which keeps the process both joyful and meaningful. Each series supports a ministry or organization that serves both the Lord and community.
I’m deeply grateful to be able to do what I love.
